“The greatest art is born from a place we can’t name, a language we
can’t speak, and yet somehow, we all understand.”

Crispin Sturrock

My art is a journey—an exploration through large, abstract expressionist canvases.

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work, born from many months of research and a deep passion for subjects that both astound and inspire. I’m drawn to individuals, historical events, and personalities that have left indelible marks on our world, and each painting is my way of engaging.

My creative journey began with a passion for drawing/caricature, and a period in Great Ormond Street Hospital. Then unexpectedly, working with my hands as a locksmith, moving onto running my own business and creative entrepreneurship.

Art for me, well it’s a conversation—an active engagement with questions of identity, belonging, justice, and power. Through my paintings, I hope to inspire thought, spark curiosity, and foster meaningful engagement.

And so, my commitment to giving back, particularly through charitable work is focusing on supporting sick children, alleviating hunger, and addressing homelessness. A significant part of my creative work is dedicated to these causes, reminding me that art’s highest purpose often lies beyond the canvas itself.
